A nice little trip, not too far from Bangkok, Wat Takien floating market is open all day, 7 days a week. During the week, it's a nice, relaxed way to see an "authentic" talad nam, not crowded by tourists, local or foreign.
Weekdays, as seen above, the docks are quite empty, with a few vendors coming and going, congregating at the far end.

The temple, itself, offers some interesting takes on practice!The Temple and market would be best reached by heading to Nonthaburi, by express boat. Hop off at Pier 29 and flag a taxi. It may take a couple tries to find one that knows Wat Takien.
